Paloma Wool, a creative, art-driven fashion brand, is seeking an experienced Retail Manager to join our dynamic team and lead our flagship store in Barcelona. The role also involves traveling and managing other Paloma Wool locations internationally, allowing you to directly impact our global retail strategy.
Role Overview:
As the Retail Manager at Paloma Wool, you will oversee all aspects of our Barcelona flagship store, from day-to-day operations to team leadership and customer experience. Additionally, you will play a key role in supporting and managing other international retail locations, ensuring that our brand's vision and standards are upheld across all markets. You will embody the brand’s creative spirit and commitment to quality, fostering an environment that reflects Paloma Wool's values of creativity, inclusivity, and sustainability.
Key Responsibilities:
- Leadership & Team Management: Lead, inspire, and develop a team of retail associates in Barcelona while supporting and guiding retail teams in other international stores.
- Sales & Performance: Drive store performance, meeting and exceeding sales targets while focusing on customer satisfaction.
- Customer Experience: Cultivate a welcoming, personal, and unique shopping experience for all customers, building long-term relationships with clients and ensuring their loyalty to the brand.
- Visual Merchandising & Brand Representation: Maintain and implement Paloma Wool's visual merchandising standards, ensuring the store reflects the brand's unique and creative identity.
- Operations Management: Oversee inventory management, stock organization, and in-store logistics, ensuring smooth operations and the highest store presentation standards.
- Client Engagement & Networking: Develop clienteling strategies to build and maintain a loyal customer base and host exclusive events and experiences for key clients.
- International Store Management: Travel regularly to manage and support other Paloma Wool locations internationally, ensuring consistency in operations, customer experience, and brand presentation across all stores.
- Reporting & Analysis: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and store performance, analyze trends, and implement strategies to optimize sales and operational efficiency.
Requirements:
- Experience: 5+ years in retail, with at least 2 years in a leadership role, preferably in fashion or lifestyle brands with a creative, artistic, and luxury focus.
- Leadership Skills: Proven ability to manage, inspire, and develop a diverse retail team in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
- Passion for the Brand: A deep understanding and passion for fashion, art, and design, with a strong affinity for Paloma Wool's ethos of creativity, sustainability, and community.
- Customer-Centric: A focus on delivering exceptional customer experience with a personal, thoughtful approach to client relationships.
- Fluency in Spanish and English: Additional languages are a plus.
- Strong Organizational Skills: Ability to multitask, prioritize, and manage multiple responsibilities in a dynamic retail environment.
- Willingness to Travel: The role requires frequent travel to international locations to oversee retail operations and ensure brand consistency.
